Howdy people!
As most of you know, we've moved away from OpenCollective for a multitude of reasons, one of the main motivators being the sheer cost associated with the platform.
We now use GitHub Sponsors for all sponsorships.
Right now we're on the final step before "rolling". Avalanche's build code is in place - vessel's management of the volatile
collection is also in place (complete with indexing).
Over the past few days the last few blockers have been resolved, including binary build manifests, improve developer workflow, enabling of Golang packaging, etc.
Our final action pre takeoff is to launch Summit, the dashboard and automated build controller. Once live, builds will constantly flow and the distribution will exist for realsies.
Let's face it, the world is a complete bollocks right now. I'm asking you guys for a hand to get us over our first finish line and enabling a massive cadence increase. Our packagers are assisting with venom, the test branch, to have a ready-to-roll base immediately out of the gate (love you guys).
What I need is a dear tad of financial stability over the next few weeks (nothing major) to help us fluidly launch and deal with the issues as they arise. If you're interested - please do drop by the sponsors page, it hasn't got to be anything major - this is a quantity case =) If you'd rather avoid card payment processors then hit me up in private (email or Matrix) and something else can be sorted.
Without you guys, we can't do anything. You're the lifeblood and enablers of our project and with your help we'll get Serpent OS running live.
Let's do this =)
