Just a heads up, I'm finally moving. For those who don't know, we've been in bit of an untenable living situation here for a while. I don't go into all the nitty gritty details, but suffice to say we're moving into a house (from a mobile home).
Having doors big enough for baby gates, outside gates that children can't climb over, electric that doesn't cost between £10-£15 a day, gas that isn't £75 a week (per 47kg bottle), it's going to be a huge and incredibly beneficial change. Even while typing this post our electric ran out again!
Initially there will be some disruption (as there has been leading up to this) - including spotty connectivity (I could really do with a TP Link 4G router) but it will be for the better. At the same time I'm also interviewing for jobs so that I can better support myself. Even without a job, simply moving into more affordable living circumstances will put us in a far better situation.
I'm being very .. lucid.. when it comes to talking with employers. Under no circumstances may my work on Serpent OS be affected. I've been down that road before and I have no interest in allowing this project to be derailed by anyone.
Anyway, I share this in the interest of transparency so that folks know we're turning a corner on all fronts.
