Gavin what is the future of SerpentOS? Is it still going to be developed as a standalone distro or is it going to become the base of Solus?
One of the outcomes we are operating with is that Solus becomes the community-driven desktop centric spin of the base Serpent OS.
However, Serpent OS will very, very likely continue to be developed as a standalone Linux distribution beyond the point where it becomes the new base of Solus, possibly as more of a tooling and engineering-led test bed for innovations. In addition, all of us are planning to dogfood Serpent OS as soon as it becomes feasible to do so.
Do note that we are currently deeply involved in bringing the Solus infrastructure back to a point where the Solus Team can independently resume operations again.
